My apologies for all the tears this morning guys; you all just brighten my day and keep me going! I thank each and every one of you for being who you are. Just because you all are going to 7th grade, does NOT mean I'm no longer your teacher. I will ALWAYS be your teacher:-) For those of you that missed the meeting, I asked for a huge favor. I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE for you all to write a letter to my rising 6th graders and email or share your letters with me on onedrive. Think back to when you first started middle school; how nervous, scared, stressed out, excited, etc. you were and I would love for you to pass on some advice to my new kiddos helping them transition with more ease. Giving the new 6th graders the "Do's and Don'ts of middle school. I will actually read your letters to them!!!! All I ask is for you to be completely honest; whether good or bad. The advice can be any of the following:
- what middle school is like -being involved in extracurricular activities -developing friendships - ANY of your teachers - Classes/academics -Grades -balancing life -the COVID-19 experience as a 6th grader -or any piece of advice you would like to share regarding your experience and how you survived the 6th grade!
